Night

Get back before dark

What the game says

Return before nightfall; the description says you will be chased if you do not, and it does not give a clock time.

Official Film Animals thumbnail: a yellow open jeep, giraffes, an elephant, and red, yellow, and blue parrots under a blue sky. — This official thumbnail shows the yellow jeep, giraffes, an elephant, and red, yellow, and blue parrots in daylight. The thumbnail does not add a clock time.

What is still unknown

This site has not played the chase. The description does not name the animal, the damage, or a countdown. Do not treat a script page's "auto return" feature as an official timer.
